ETNS
The European Telephony Numbering Space (ETNS), for which NeuStar manages telephone numbering and number portability, parallels the numbering spaces of various European nations and aids the provisioning of telephony services across the continent. In those instances where national and/or global numbers may not be adequate or available, ETNS (country code 3883) facilitates the uniform numbering of cross-border services.
Four (4) ETNS services are currently available: Public Service Application, Customer Service Application, Corporate Networks, and Personal Numbering. Registrar functions (e.g., number management and assignment) and clearinghouse capabilities (e.g., number portability) are also available through NeuStar.
